Hello everybody.
Today I'll show you how to update the firmware for the Pipo Smart S1 tablet.
1. First of all, you have to download the latest firmware for this tablet: Pipo Smart S1 TNT Release 3 Firmware Image or the official release.
2. Second, you have to install the Windows driver. For my Windows 8 Pro x64 bit it was a little tricky, below is a video to show you how to do it. The Rockusb Driver v2.0 can be downloaded from here.

3. After you installed the firmware and put the tablet into 'firmware update mode', you have to download and run RKbatch Tool. If you properly attached your tablet, this is in firmware update mode and the drivers are installed correctly, then the tool should show a “green” block where the device is attached (number 1). Press the ellipses “…” button, locate and select your firmware image and then press the 'Restore' button. Wait several minutes and then you're done.
Enjoy your new firmware!

Hi,
I tried to follow your instructions for drivers in win8. The driver contains many different ones, so I chose RK30 (like in the video). But I still get "USB device not recognized".
In device manager the 'RKsmart device' is marked with an yellow!
Any tips?
